We have designed, engineered and manufactured the highest quality heat exchangers for over 20 years here at AIC, consistently improving and utilising the experience we have gained to deliver reliable service to satisfied customers worldwide. Stainless Steel

For over 20 years AIC have specialised in the fabrication of stainless steel. We are proud of the knowledge we have gained throughout this time. With extensive investments in technology and our workforce, we can select and fabricate the optimal type of stainless steel most suited to the component performance. Our products are designed and built by specialist engineers, and by combining different categories of stainless steel we can assure maximum resistance and reliability of our products over time.

Stainless steel is a 100% recyclable material and an excellent environmental choice as the bulk of the elements used in stainless steel production come from previously used materials.

Fire Tube heat exchanger

How does it work?

  • The combustion process begins with the entry of the premixed air and gas mixture into the burner chamber. The component parts help to ensure low NOx levels and a large modulation range (up to 12:1).

  • The water completely envelops the flue tubes in the exchanger and flows from the base upwards, counter-current to the downward traveling flue gasses.

  • The water flow is directed by special baffles to ensure optimal heat exchange and very low pressure drop.

  • The transfer of energy is maximised by the turbulence created by the flow of gasses from top to bottom, counter-current to the flow of water.

  • The condensation process within the flue tubes ensures the self-cleaning function that washes away deposits and greatly reduces maintenance operations.

Evolved ECU Flexibility?

Intuitive for both the user and the engineer complete with weather compensation functionality. The integrated AIC Electronic Control Unit (ECU) can manage up to 3 direct or mixed circuits and one circuit for DHW production via an external storage cylinder with anti-legionella function when installed with additional control accessories. It can also manage up to 6 boilers in cascade and has connectivity for regulation and remote control.

High heat transfer - VERY HIGH PERFORMANCE

With its exclusive design and high heat transfer coefficient between the primary water and flue gases. The completely immersed flue ways of the Fire Tube exchanger guarantee the optimal exchange in energy over the entire length of the exchanger. This design allows AIC condensing boilers to achieve extremely high performances, without risk of oxidation.

Cascade

This modular system is easy to install thanks to the stainless steel hydraulic cascade kits and the accessories manufactured by AIC.
A Nesta Chrome cascade is particularly suitable for those medium and large installations where the heating demand is variable according to building usage.
